PENEBAND C PENEPOXY 2K
"PeneBand C" is an elastic tape that can withstand significant deformations of the seam in different directions;
"PenePoxy 2K" is a two-component epoxy adhesive, which when polymerized forms a hard and durable material.
ADVANTAGES - Ability to install and restore
waterproofing of deformed joints both inside and outside the structures ; - High adhesion to various materials (concrete, metal); - Strong tape and glue; - Ability to withstand high hydrostatic water pressure; - Possibility of application in complex shaped structures; - Durability and chemical resistance; - The materials are resistant to ultraviolet rays.

TECHNOLOGY OF HERMETISATION OF DEFORMED JOINTS
The surface temperature of the structure is between +5 and +35 °C
work should be done in dry calm weather.
USE OF ADHESIVE
0.6-0.8 kg / mp
Precautions
Use rubber gloves, cotton gloves, respirator, goggles, coveralls made of dense fabric, boots. Ventilation should be provided in closed areas. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove weak concrete mechanically. Clean the surface of any contaminants (e.g. with a diamond cutter). Repair uneven areas of the surface with "Skrepa M700 Remontnaya (For Repair)" mortar mixture. Round the seam edges. If there are leaks, eliminate them with Peneplag or Waterplaq mixtures. When working against water pressure, it is recommended to fill it with PenePurFom 1K or PeneSplitSil resin to prevent it from accumulating in the cavity. To ensure high adhesion of Pene-Poxy adhesive to the concrete surface at the initial stage, as well as ease of application, the concrete surface must be dried.
TAPE SELECTION
The choice of tape width depends on the width of the joint and the expected amount of deformation of the joint. If there is no information about the nature and size of the possible deformations of the seam, then it is necessary to use a tape with a width of at least the average width of the seam plus 200 mm.
PREPARATION OF ADHESIVE
Storage and transportation of the adhesive at temperatures below +5°C may lead to an increase in the viscosity of component A. In this case, it is necessary to heat the bucket in a water bath (temperature 60-70 °C) until it starts working, then the consistency is restored. Separation of component B is also possible. To give component B a homogeneous consistency, it must be mixed in the factory container. Before preparation, the glue should be stored in a closed place at a temperature between +15 and +25 ° C for 24 hours. Mix components A:B = 2:1 by weight for 2 minutes with a low speed drill (up to 300 rpm). Before preparing the working volume of the adhesive, prepare a control batch to evaluate the viability of the adhesive under the conditions of the object. As the temperature decreases, the viscosity of the glue increases, viability decreases as temperature increases. Prepare an amount of glue that can be used for the life of the boiler.

Tape in peneband
APPLICATION
Apply the adhesive to the prepared dry concrete surface with a spatula in a continuous even layer. The thickness of the adhesive layer should be 2-3 mm, and the width on each side of the seam should be at least 80 mm.
TAPE INSTALLATION
Put the tape on the glue. Press the tape into the concrete and remove the air from under it with a plastic roller. The edges of the tape should be glued with 5-10 mm of glue. The tapes are welded with an industrial dryer with a power of at least 2300 W with an overlap at a temperature of 300-350 ° C with a slit nozzle 20-40 mm wide. In this case, the end of one tape should overlap the other by at least 100 mm. After laying, in any way ensure that the tape is firmly pressed against the concrete surface for at least 24 hours.
PROTECTION AGAINST MECHANICAL EFFECTS
Protect PeneBand S tape from damage using 5-10mm thick conveyor belt or galvanized metal sheets.
